What WallThrone is
WallThrone is a strategy and management video game played with virtual money. It is not a broker, it gives no access to real markets, it executes no real orders and it does not constitute financial advice or an investment recommendation. The companies, prices, news, characters and institutions in the game are made up: prices are generated by a mathematical model.
Results in the game do not predict and bear no relation to results in real markets. Trading real financial markets carries a risk of loss.
Data we store
You can play without giving us anything: as a guest we only store the name you pick. If you sign up, we also store your email address, which works as your username. In both cases we store what you do in the game: your empire, your trades, your credits and your purchases. We do not store passwords because we do not use them: you get in with a temporary code sent to your email.
We record visits in aggregate to know how many people come in. The IP address is stored cryptographically hashed with a secret salt, so it cannot identify anyone and cannot be turned back into the original IP.
Phone notifications
If you agree to receive phone notifications, we store the identifier your phone gives us and its language, so we can tell you in your language what is happening to your empire. That identifier does not say who you are or where you are. You can stop it any time from your phone notification settings.
Third parties
We use Mailjet to send the access emails and Stripe to charge purchases made on the website. We never store card details. Purchases made inside the mobile app are charged by the phone store (App Store or Google Play). If you get phone notifications, they are delivered by Firebase Cloud Messaging, by Google.
Your rights
You can request access, correction or full deletion of your account and your data by writing to hola@wallthrone.com. We answer within 30 days at most. Guest accounts that never play are deleted on their own after seven days.
Purchases
Credits are digital goods activated on your account immediately and only usable inside the game; they have no value outside it and cannot be exchanged for money. By purchasing you accept immediate delivery and waive your right of withdrawal once the content is activated, in accordance with article 103.m of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007.
Age
WallThrone is not aimed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone below that age. If you believe a minor in your care has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
